​The Beekley Library is celebrating 30 years at 10 Central Avenue!

Come celebrate the new library building's 30th anniversary! There will be live music, snacks, cake, games, and fun for all ages. Donations in honor of the Beekley's anniversary will be welcomed, but the event is free for the community to attend. Join us before participating in the New Hartford Chalk Walk! 

An annual event since 2006, The Goshen Stampede has grown to become the largest Rodeo and Gymkhana Event in Connecticut with unique attractions, Truck Pulls, Demo Derbies, fan favorite food and three days of fun. The Goshen Stampede is produced by the Goshen Stampede, Inc. , a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Net proceeds produced from the Goshen Stampede are used to support local and national charitable causes thru Goshen Stampede, Inc. , a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Goshen Stampede, Inc is a member of the Association of Connecticut Fairs (ACF) and the International Association of Fairs & Expositions (IAFE).

Litchfield Hills Brewfest

Head for the hills! The Litchfield Hills Brewfest is back at Ski Sundown, in New Hartford!  Sample specialty beers, wines, microbrews, cider, and moonshine from more than 70 vendors while enjoying live music. Food will be available for purchase from a variety of food vendors. In addition, there will be many silent auctions and raffles to win!

Tickets are $40* in advance; $45* at the door. Designated driver tickets are $20* in advance; $25* at the door. Purchase tickets in advance online starting in May. Event proceeds benefit Friends of Troop 3, Inc., Five Points Arts, St. Maron Church, and Summit Adaptive Sports. The Annual Torrington / Winsted Rotary Golf classic is fast approaching on Monday July 6th! Our annual tournament is our chief fundraiser and is the means by which we can support our community as generously as we do. Each year we give back to the community approximately $50,000 in direct grants, scholarships to high school seniors, and in the support we provide to various worthy international projects.

The Terryville Lions Country Fair is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Terryville Lions Club. Members of the Terryville Lions Club and other Fair volunteers are hard at work year-round to make the next Terryville Lions Country Fair the best year yet!
