NHBC Dues Increase

Dear Members of the New Hartford Business Council,

As in all businesses and organizations, one of our priorities is to keep costs at the lowest possible impact to all. For longer than I have been a member, the dues for joining just the Business Council has been at $75.00.

In order to maintain and raise our level of service to our members, it is necessary to raise our dues by $10.00 per year. The primary reason for the increase is due to the following expenses:  website, insurance, our events  (business after hours and monthly morning minglers), the scholarship program (with a goal of increasing that support) and advertising. Our biggest expense is maintenance of our website and a major overhaul of our insurance coverage.

BAH - Business After Hours at NeJaime's Package Store

NeJaime's Package Store recently hosted a BAH event at his store on Route 44 in Pine Meadow.  Edward "Buddy" NeJaime, new owner of the package store (formerly Meadow Package), graciously hosted a crowd of over twenty nine members of the NHBC.  Ed recently became a member of the council and welcomed us with open arms.  He provided sandwiches and appetizers from his neighboring business, Foothills Delery, and provided wine and beer for those attending.  You know you have hosted a great event when your guests stay until the end of the evening!

NHBC Announces New Website

The NHBC is pleased to announce a brand new website for the use of its members and the New Hartford business and residential community. Current NHBC members are requested to review their membership listing in the directory and then to use the contact form to notify us of any changes that need to be made. Current members are also encouraged to submit a brief description of their business (also using the contact form on the site)  to be included in their member listing in the directory.
