Chris joined Cramer & Anderson, LLP in 2015 after practicing 17 years as an insurance defense litigator. Chris practices all areas of civil litigation, with particular focus on personal injury, product liability, construction defect, medical malpractice, real estate error and omissions, professional malpractice, and employers’ liability and discrimination, as well as appellate practice. He also has extensive litigation experience in fire and explosion litigation, emergency management and emergency response consultation and litigation. He has litigated cases before the Connecticut state and federal courts, Connecticut administrative agencies and the Mohegan Tribe Gaming Disputes Court. He has also argued cases before Connecticut’s Appellate and Supreme Courts. After his years as an insurance defense litigator, Chris brings significant strategic insight and experience as to how insurance companies and their defense counsel approach and handle the litigation of claims, which serves to benefit his present clients in obtaining favorable results.
Chris lives with his wife, Julie, and their two sons in New Hartford where Chris serves as a Deputy Director of Emergency Management, and is a member of the volunteer fire and ambulance services. Chris is also a practicing nationally registered paramedic, which provides Chris a deeper understanding of medical conditions, which assists him in the representation of his clients. Chris believes that his involvement in the emergency medicine and fire fields compliments his legal practice in that he strives to assist those in need of help as effectively and efficiently as possible.
